A full moon hangs in the night sky and lightning streaks across dark storm clouds. Sarah Tyler returns to her troubled family home in the isolated countryside, for a much put-off visit. Something that holds a dark secret so devastating that, in one night, it could wipe out the entire family.
Trapped, Sarah and her brothers and friends must use their heads as well as their physical strength to survive not only the thing that is hunting them down one by one - but their own entrapment as the besieged group turns in on itself. Can they survive the horror stalking them? Or is their enemy already amongst them and has it always been? Can they survive for 13 hours?

SYNOPSIS:
For four bachelors of Killcoulin’s Leap, life is slowly passing them by. The remote Western Irish town holds no future for them, no career opportunities, very few eligible women, and (save for the handful of geriatrics their band plays for on Saturday night) no night-life to speak of.
It seems they’re stuck to live out the rest of their lives in withering boredom. But when one of their mates decides to find his fortune elsewhere, the others put their heads together. If they could just gather enough money to get themselves out of this town, they could all escape this hopelessness.

SYNOPSIS:
Jane appears to be ideal: attractive, intelligent, unruffled by her employer’s abrupt eccentricities. But, gradually, we come aware that Jane has another agenda. Incrementally, Sir Paul’s familiar surroundings are altered. His housekeeper is diverted away, strange things happen around the house and he becomes increasingly dependent on his new assistant.
Jane plays increasingly sadistic games until their relationship breaks down and it becomes clear that Jane intends to kill Sir Paul. Paul grasps this too late to save himself, but the plot carries further savage twists before it reaches its conclusion.
