January 1944 and across Europe the fires of fascism are being extinguished as the World War comes to an end. In neutral Switzerland six men meet with a common goal, to ensure that the power of fascism will return in their grandchildren’s time.  To this potent group this gospel is a secret key to world domination  -  but at a terrible cost to their own future generations.

Sixty years later an unlikely pairing of a top French investigating magistrate and a detective inspector from Scotland Yard combine forces when an Anglo-French money-laundering investigation becomes a hunt for a serial killer, as seemingly unconnected victims succumb to a series of horrible and unexplained deaths.  
But as these killings unfold they find that they are just the prelude to even darker events brewing, and that they only have days to stop the greater catastrophe that threatens to fling the world into chaos and darkness.
