SYNOPSIS:

In A Very British Gangster part 2 “the Sins of the Father” we find out how his father’s absence in prison has affected him and how his environment and attitudes and education have pre-disposed him towards a life of violent crime.  It is a story that will touch all of us who have children, all of us who live in a damaged society.

As his father is sent down for at least 3 years 9 months Bugsy is nostalgic for the childhood he never has had and hopes he and his father will holiday in Jamaica on his release. He has known his dad for only 2 of his 11 years, but their bond is strong, hard man Noonan has a bully’s sentimental vision.

SYNOPSIS:

The film opens in the Arizona desert. Michael has taken his son on a camping trip to try to bridge the gap in their relationship. Suddenly an eclipse plunges the desert into absolute darkness. A terrible roaring sound drowns the soundtrack as a ferocious wind blasts the desert into a raging sandstorm. Michael and Nick shelter behind their jeep, but as Nick reaches out for his father, Michael has vanished in the terrifying storm.

Fast-forward 12 years.

Michael has travelled to London to attend Nick's wedding. The pair are virtual strangers now. The celebrations are taking place in a beautiful country hotel just outside London, and continuing in the gardens as a solar eclipse takes place.
